It's been a while since I last wrote....and so much is going on. One the best things about the past few months is that I have been travelling. I traveled quite a bit in June and then again in July and well in September too. =) First one was Delhi --- Dehradun---Bangalore----Delhi. In July Delhi----Bangalore----Kerala---Delhi. In September did a weekend getaway to Dehradun. In these months I attended 3 weddings of close friends and my cousin.

I just love spring!
Spring is my favourite season. The weather is just prefect not so cold or too hot.
I love the parks around me. They are so full of flowers and fragrances.
Here are some pictures of the month of March and all the beautiful flowers that has been around. These 7 photos are taken from my phone.
I am reading the Lowland currently.
The night will never stay
The Night Will Never Stay
The night will never stay,
The night will still go by,
Though with a million stars
You pin it to the sky;
Though you bind it with the blowing
wind
And buckle it with the moon,
The night will slip away
Like sorrow or a tune.
The night will still go by,
Though with a million stars
You pin it to the sky;
Though you bind it with the blowing
wind
And buckle it with the moon,
The night will slip away
Like sorrow or a tune.

stars
I found this on the web but not sure who wrote it......
We don't need words
said the stars
we shine silently
together
for centuries
So beautifully put.
We don't need words
said the stars
we shine silently
together
for centuries
So beautifully put.

I love birds
During the trip to Rajasthan I took few photographs of birds . Here are some. You will see a lot of pigeons..=) There were also a lot of peacocks around the roads and house. But i couldn't get any photos of them.
A Bird came down the Walk –
He did not know I saw –
He bit an Angleworm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw,
He did not know I saw –
He bit an Angleworm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw,
And then he drank a Dew
From a convenient Grass –
And then hopped sidewise to the Wall
To let a Beetle pass –
From a convenient Grass –
And then hopped sidewise to the Wall
To let a Beetle pass –
He glanced with rapid eyes
That hurried all abroad –
They looked like frightened Beads, I thought –
He stirred his Velvet Head
That hurried all abroad –
They looked like frightened Beads, I thought –
He stirred his Velvet Head
Like one in danger, Cautious,
I offered him a Crumb
And he unrolled his feathers
And rowed him softer home –
I offered him a Crumb
And he unrolled his feathers
And rowed him softer home –
Than Oars divide the Ocean,
Too silver for a seam –
Or Butterflies, off Banks of Noon
Leap, plashless as they swim.
Too silver for a seam –
Or Butterflies, off Banks of Noon
Leap, plashless as they swim.
poem by Emily Dickinson
Rajasthan
Over the winter holiday me and my family did a road trip to Rajasthan. Rajasthan mean land of the kings and I could see why it's called that..there were lots of kingdoms there. This is a state in India which is located in the north west. We travelled from Delhi to Ajmer and stayed the night, next day we drove to Jodhpur and the next day to Jaisalmer which is the farthest away from Delhi. This was an adventure as we did not book any hotels and didn't know the way. Used GPS to find places. So much fun.
Here are some glimpses of the place.
Thar Desert in Jaisalmer. Such a beautiful place. Finally rest of the family say a desert. Check....
Here are some glimpses of the place.
